It's not because of the irresistible banger that is "Kiss Kiss," and it's not because he's rounded up a guest roster that reaches across the hip-hop universe and pulls T-Pain, Big Boi, and Kanye into orbit:
Exclusive solidifies Chris Brown's rise in modern R&B circles because it's a tight, stylish album that reeks of major-career potential. Yes, he's straddling the grown and sexy thing even though he's not yet out of his teens (see "With You," "You," and "I Wanna Be"), and yes, he's pulled in a lot of different directions by a lot of top-tier producers, Scott Storch, the Underdogs, and Will.i.am among them. But the thing that'll grab longtime R&B listeners about
Exclusive is the way it hangs together--Brown can belt or go breezy with the best of them, and he doesn't strain for credulity even when faced with lyrics more suited to R. Kelly's wised-up vocal caliber (see "Take You Down"). Last go-round, on his debut, Brown was a hotshot. This time he's just hot.

This CD is a good CD and I think other peole should get it.
The best songs on it are, "Take you Down" and 'with you"
The other songs are good too. And this guy is only 19 or 20 years old.
I hope he has a down-to-earth personality though. But on the video theat came with the CD he seams pretty laid back. But, he's very skinny. Not picking on him but maybe he needs a trainer so he can beef himself up. and i'm not putting him down, just trying to help.

| A personal friend suggested this CD. I feel making the decision to purchase this CD was an error of judgement on my part. |

| Great cd by Chris Brown, brings better sound to this cd from his last one. Plenty of club hits, some slow sounds and overall great music. The exclusive is worth gettin if you dont have the original cd. Keep a look out on him. |

"3.5 STARS"
Chris Brown is back with his sophmore album and I would have to say job well done. I didn't have the opportunity to listen to his debut album in full, just the selected tracks played on the radio. In his own right Exclusive is a pretty decent album, I didn't particularly care for Wall to Wall at first glance like I did with Kiss Kiss, but it did shed some light on the overall album. I would have to say that this album is very well rounded, vocally Chris Brown has grown. Now for lyrics at times they were mediocre and directed towards I would say a particular age group-of tracks such as "I'll call you", "Hold up(pretty decent track though)" and "Gimme what you got". Anyway a couple of tracks stoodout that were heart-felt such as "Damage", "Take you down" and "I wanna be". There were a few cameo appearances on the album from T-Pain, Big Boi, Will.I.AM, Lil Wayne, Kanye West that added a spin on a few records but in the same sentence the album could have did without. I see continued success for this artist and I believe he will do nothing but reach greater heights.
